Bogey Bucks

The initial objective of the Michael I Kudo foundation is to provide resources to 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations who have proven approaches to aid adopted beagles and  their families. We search out deserving and qualified organizations then evaluate and assist them in their current approaches to enhance the quality of life for our canine companions and their families.

Examples could be:

  • Providing training for Beagles and their adoptive Families

  • Breed specific education

  • Advocating for the breed

  • Helping beagles find their new homes

  • Helping the adoptive families bond with their new family member

  • Educating the public about animal testing related to Beagles.

Since the inception of Bogey Bucks, we've helped a number of nonprofit organizations, who in turn have helped over 70 Beagles with veterinary care, medication, food, treats, training.

We are accepting applications for Bogey Bucks grants.  Please read the project summary for a full description and parameters.

Find It!

The objective of this project is to provide resources to 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations that provide canine-assisted search and rescue (SAR) services in the United States.

The dog and handler train for hundreds of hours every year. Some are trained in airscent, trailing, water, avalanche rescue, disaster recovery, HRD (human remains detection) and are deployed via local sheriff offices. The majority of K9 SAR organizations operate on a volunteer basis so the majority of our grants should be used to assist the K9 teams with training, medical care, transportation and personal equipment.

We are accepting applications for Find It! grants.  Please read the project summary for a full description and parameters.
